Classical and contemporary voice teacher and performing artist Eileen Ruby has been encouraging people to let go and sing from the heart for twenty years. Her teaching is informed by MM and BM degrees in Music Education and Voice Performance from UMASS, Amherst and more than twenty years of ongoing independent studies of Yoga, Qi Gong, Meditation, Sound Healing, and Alexander Technique.
In addition to her formal music training, Eileen holds certificates in Integrative Acupressure, Aromatherapy and Flower Essence Counseling, is a Reiki Master, and completed Level III certification in Somatic Voicework™, The Lovetri Method, a unique graduate level training in Contemporary Vocal Music Pedagogy at Shenandoah University in 2008.
Eileen offers heart-centered, mindfulness based instruction in voice for the 21st century vocal artist and dedicates all teaching and performing efforts to advancing peace on earth through evolving self-realized artists and artistry.
